Sugarite Canyon State Park is situated on the Colorado-New Mexico border and features a historic coal-mining camp and convenient access to popular hiking trails. The park offers multiple campground areas for family and group camping. The Soda Pocket Campground consists of multiple sites for tent, trailer and RV camping (up to 35 feet max length). The sites are equipped with picnic tables and fire pits/grills. Additional state park amenities include drinking water, restrooms, showers, and a dump station are located nearby. Group sites are also located within close proximity. Sites are all $10 per night and are available first come, first serve.
